Our take
Picked up the Optix G24C 'tested' unit and it's been a decent experience. The 144 Hz and 1 ms response time deliver the fast, fluid performance I need for competitive gaming. FreeSync works well with my AMD GPU, eliminating screen tearing. The curve isn't extreme but adds a bit of immersion. On the downside, the LCD display has limited viewing angles compared to IPS, and colors feel a bit washed out out of the box. Also, being a 'tested' unit, it came with no original packaging. For $110, it's a fair deal if you want a cheap high-refresh curved monitor.
